Frequently asked questions about hiring the stage

The twenty questions we get every week by phone and WhatsApp, answered straight. If you still have one after reading them, write to us from the bookings page and we’ll reply the same day.

Booking, price and terms

What is the minimum booking?

Three hours. It’s the realistic minimum to set up, shoot and wrap without watching the clock. Beyond that, it’s quoted on the actual time, and most shoots work by half day or full day.

How much does it cost to hire the stage?

Every shoot is quoted to measure and depends on the configuration (one or both cycloramas) and the time slot: daytime, night or weekend. A full day starts at €600 excluding VAT, and we give you the final price fixed and in writing before you book.

How is the booking confirmed?

Accepting the quote is equivalent to a contract. The date is secured with 50% by bank transfer and the other 50% is paid before shooting starts. Until we receive proof of the first payment, the date remains available to other clients.

Can I cancel?

Once the shoot date is secured, the booking cannot be cancelled. Additional services can, with sufficient notice. It’s all set out in the terms of use.

Do prices include VAT?

No. All prices exclude VAT, as is usual between production companies and suppliers in the industry.

What does the stage price include?

The whole space, electricity use and the facilities: both cycloramas, the motorised truss, the two dressing rooms, the production office, climate control, wifi and parking. Rigged lighting, technical equipment, production and set dressing are quoted separately.

The space and the technical side

How big is the stage?

About 300 m² open plan, with up to 8 metres of clear height. The white cyclorama is a continuous 8 × 7.5 m curve and the black one measures 6 × 5 m. The two are independent.

How much electrical power is there?

17 kW of contracted power. It easily covers a shoot day with LED lighting, climate control and production equipment running at the same time.

Can I hang lights and set pieces?

Yes. The 6 × 6 m motorised truss holds 1,200 kg spread over four 300 kg points, and comes down to about 1.20 m from the floor so you can rig with your feet on the ground, without towers or scaffolding.

Do you have a green screen?

The black cyclorama is painted chroma green when the project needs it. Tell us when you book so it’s ready before the shoot.

Is the stage soundproofed?

It’s an open-plan hangar, insulated from street and traffic noise. It isn’t a radio sound booth: for clean dialogue you work with close or lavalier mics, as on any professional shoot.

Can two sets be built at the same time?

Yes, and it’s one of the advantages of having 300 m². You can shoot on the white cyclorama while the black one is being set up, or leave a second set built to switch blocks in minutes.

Equipment, gear and crew

Can I hire just the equipment, without the stage?

No. The studio’s equipment is always booked together with the stage: we are not a rental house and the gear doesn’t leave the building.

What equipment do you have?

Lighting, electrical, tripods, camera equipment, props, accessories and production gear. It’s all in the catalogue, item by item, with its description.

Are cameras and sound included?

The stage hire doesn’t include them. There is camera equipment and accessories in the studio’s catalogue, and anything we don’t have can be quoted separately.

Do you provide technical crew?

Technical crew and production are quoted according to the project. Tell us what you need when you request a date and we’ll include it in the same quote.

Logistics on shoot day

Can a vehicle drive into the stage?

Yes. The vehicle entrance is 3.10 m wide by 3.70 m high and has a motorised door, so the van or car drives right up to the shooting area and unloads inside.

Is there parking?

Three dedicated spaces, plus a loading and unloading area inside and in the yard. Talent can go straight from the car park to the dressing room without crossing the set.

Are you inside the Low Emission Zone?

No. The stage is in Leganés, outside Madrid’s low emission zone (ZBE) and about 25 minutes from the city centre. Production vehicles come in with no restrictions or emission sticker.

Is there somewhere to eat and rest?

Yes. The production office has a kitchen with coffee and a fridge, a TV and wifi, and works as a catering area and client room without getting in the way of the set. The dressing rooms have their own bathroom with shower.

Didn’t find your question?

You’ll find the hard data on the space in the technical specs, how the shoot day is quoted on the rates page, the details of the facilities in stage hire in Madrid and all the available equipment in the equipment catalogue. The terms of use are published in full, with no surprises.
